The state-funded integration course represents a fundamental stepping stone for your future in Germany, consisting of two highly structured primary components: an intensive language course and a subsequent cultural orientation course. The language acquisition phase typically comprises 600 comprehensive teaching units, systematically guiding participants from absolute beginner basics all the way to the sophisticated B1 level defined by the internationally recognized Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
This mandatory integration program follows a meticulously designed modular architecture, ensuring a standardized and highly effective learning trajectory for all eligible participants. It initiates with the foundational basic course, which thoroughly covers language levels A1 and A2, before seamlessly transitioning into the advanced course that culminates in the B1 certification. Each of these distinct linguistic modules encompasses precisely 100 teaching units that are pedagogically layered upon one another. Upon the triumphant completion of the linguistic segment, participants immediately engage in the orientation course, which comprises an additional 100 teaching units dedicated to imparting profound knowledge regarding the German legal framework, historical milestones, and socio-cultural paradigms.
The overarching objective of this immersive integration course extends significantly beyond mere vocabulary acquisition; it is fundamentally engineered to empower you with the essential communicative competencies required to independently, confidently, and successfully navigate everyday life within the Federal Republic of Germany. Ultimately, you will learn how to communicate assertively across diverse life scenarios, comprehend complex bureaucratic documents, and actively engage in communal societal activities. To validate these newly acquired skills, you must undertake two rigorous official examinations at the conclusion of the curriculum: the German Test for Immigrants (DTZ) and the federally mandated "Life in Germany" civic test. Successfully passing both of these comprehensive evaluations grants you the esteemed "Integration Course Certificate," which officially documents your linguistic proficiency and indispensable civic awareness.

The government-regulated integration course is primarily directed towards newly arrived immigrants who harbor a genuine intention to establish a permanent, long-term residence within the borders of Germany. A foundational prerequisite for enrollment is the possession of a valid authorization or an official obligation certificate directly issued by the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF), the Jobcenter, or the local Foreigners Registration Office. Additionally, citizens of the European Union, as well as German nationals possessing a demonstrable migration background, may also be granted access to participate under specific, well-defined regulatory conditions. Fortunately, absolutely no prior foundational knowledge of the German language is anticipated or required prior to enrollment—the comprehensive curriculum thoughtfully initiates at the absolute beginner level and methodically elevates your proficiency step-by-step toward the targeted linguistic benchmark.
Please be advised that all scheduled integration courses take place exclusively within the premises of our highly modern, technologically equipped training facility centrally located in Duisburg. The indispensable personal consultation and the formal, legally binding registration for your chosen educational path must occur in person at our institute strictly after you have successfully submitted your preliminary online registration form. Our dedicated, multilingual administrative team will be more than delighted to meticulously advise you regarding any lingering questions related to the course curriculum, potential funding opportunities, and the precise compilation of the mandatory bureaucratic documentation.
Assuming the presentation of a valid authorization or obligation certificate to participate, the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) generously subsidizes exactly half of the standard course fees, which equates to €2.29 per individual teaching unit. Consequently, the remaining half of these educational costs must be borne directly by the participating individual. However, in cases demonstrating verifiable, acute financial hardship, an official application for complete, 100% fee exemption can be formally submitted to the authorities. Under these specific circumstances, the BAMF comprehensively covers all associated course tuition fees on your behalf. Specific demographic groups, most notably regular recipients of unemployment benefits II (Bürgergeld) or municipal social assistance, are automatically and entirely exempted from these financial obligations by operation of law. We will gladly, and confidentially, advise you regarding your highly individual funding possibilities and proactively support you throughout the often-complex bureaucratic application procedure.
The aforementioned standardized course fees comprehensively include all necessary pedagogical learning materials, the unrestricted use of our instructional classrooms, and continuous administrative support extending throughout the entirety of your educational journey. Please note, however, that the mandatory fees corresponding to the final conclusive examinations are explicitly not included in this sum and must be settled separately with the designated examination center. Notably, upon demonstrating consistent, regular course participation alongside the successful passing of the final exams within a two-year timeframe, a substantial portion of your previously paid course tuition fees can potentially be reimbursed to you under specific, well-defined regulatory conditions.
