Telc C1 "higher education" exam

L.A.N.E.S. is a Telc exam center in Duisburg and Düsseldorf and offers preparatory modules and exams for participants, who would like to train for the higher education Telc C1 exam. Our certificate Telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule enables you to study at all German universities.

What are the participants at level C1 qualified to do?

At level C1, participants can express themselves fluently and without problems. The participant can also adapt and vary the style of language according to the situation. The students are able to understand and use everyday as well as scientific language without any problems. Level C1 requires a high level of grammatical correctness in written and spoken language.

How is the exam structured?

The examination consists of a written and an oral part. The written exam lasts 3 hours and 40 minutes. In between there is a break of 20 minutes. The oral examination can take place on the day of the written examination or on another day. The participants have 20 minutes to prepare themselves for the oral examination.

Reading comprehension and Sprachbausteine (grammar and vocabulary): 90 minutes
Break: 20 minutes
Listening comprehension: 40 minutes
Writing: 70 minutes
Oral examination (together with two or three other participants): 16 or 24 minutes.
