Application training - Vocational coaching: The course at LANES Duisburg and Düsseldorf is aimed at people with and without migration background. It is aimed at people who did not receive a school diploma or other qualifications. The course is also addressed to people who are long-term unemployed. Participants are given the opportunity to check and evaluate their abilities, skills and interests about a possible career choice, to orient themselves in the field of suitable. Within the training, the participants will acquire a certain knowledge and skills that are required to receive an initial employment or apprenticeship. The participants should be integrated into the national job market as sustainably as possible. At the end of this further training, the participants can apply independently for positions of their own choice. They actively learn how to behave in a face-to-face application with an employer. This strengthens the self-confidence of the participants. This way an entry into the German job market is made possible.

Application training Content:

Participants learn to gain an overview of the German labour market by reading, evaluating and discussing job offers on the Internet and in newspapers. This way, the participants learn to use the job and educational opportunities on their own. They develop application strategies by becoming aware of what is relevant and what is irrelevant for the job. The design and preparation of application documents is practiced extensively. Job interviews will also be trained and simulated.

Exam:

There is no exam at the end of the training. We will hand out a certificate if the training has been regularly attended.

The Application training will be taught by highly qualified teachers.
