Qualification TELC C1 Profession: The further training measure in Duisburg and Düsseldorf enables students with a migration background to find a good entry into the qualified labour market. Highly qualified skilled workers from abroad can also be better placed in jobs that match their qualifications. Good language skills are further improved and open up new career prospects.

Content of the TELC C1 profession qualification

In this continuing education programme, participants acquire general and job-related German language skills at a very advanced level. The aim of this targeted language training is to make it easier for migrants to enter the world of work.
In reading and listening comprehension, the participants learn to understand a broad spectrum of demanding, longer texts and also to grasp implicit meanings. Many business letters as well as office communication are also trained. Orally, the participants train the spontaneous and fluent use of language in order to be able to communicate with customers and colleagues.
They learn (or repeat) how to write business letters and how to write strategy and planning papers. Various text linking tools are also part of the lesson.
The participants learn to use language effectively and flexibly in social and professional life or in training and studies and to be able to express themselves clearly, structured and in detail on complex issues. Finally, participants are encouraged and supported in independent application activities. They receive assistance in the preparation of application documents.
